There are many factors that are important in making the perfect canvas print.
The first step is to ensure that the base material - the canvas - is free from defects like an irregular weave, and that it is perfectly white. This process is essential as any flaws will soon become obvious when the canvas is stretched over a frame.
Once we have established that the canvas is of the finest quality the next step is to make sure that the printer and ink will deliver consistent, quality results.
To ensure that our prints stay looking great we use the latest in UV ink technology, this seals the colour into the canvas so that we are able to produce a vibrant canvas that should stay looking great for up to 100 years.
As soon as your picture leaves the printer the first step in our quality control begins. Each print is checked to ensure that the image is aligned properly and that colour is calibrated correctly with the original.
When the canvas has passed this stage it is ready for framing.
We use only the best kiln-dried pine or fir wood to make our frames and every one is checked by our team for defects that may cause it to warp over time.
